I ran the Heights 5K in Houston this morning. Cool weather and a flat course. I finished in 47:12. The last age group was 50 and over, so I obviously did not place. This was my 55th race in 2022.

- Retired from the Army in 1984 and the Texas Department of Criminal Justice in 2005. Current age: 82. Began running in 1961 and racing in 1983. Completed over 1,350 races, to include 101 marathons or ultra-marathons and 106 half marathons. My normal running place is Huntsville State Park. I am a STREAKER, meaning that I run every day.
