I went to the Fleet Feet Store in The Woodlands this evening and ran their Global Day 5K along the waterway. I finished in 43:47, but according to my GPS, the course was 3 miles. Got a chance to visit with a lot of friends. On the way back to Huntsville, I stopped in at Cheddars in Conroe and had dinner with my daughter and her family.

Was there three different efforts going on Wednesday evening? I know that The Woodlands Marathon had something in Town Green Park and then Fleet Feet as well as Northside Running, which had support from the Houston Marathon. Love Danny and Lindsay at Fleet Feet, but I would have supported Willie, given that I'm announcing for him now.
I knew TWM had a group running, but I did not know that Northside Running was there also. In any case, it was good to see so many runners along the waterway. Look forward to your announcing for the Texas 10 Series again.
