I made two trips to the park today. Just as I arrived late this morning, it started lightning and raining very hard. I waited in the truck for at least 30 minutes. It let up some, so I started running. Just as I did, the lightning returned and it started raining hard again. So, I drove home and went back in the middle of the afternoon when it was fairly clear. Got in 3.1 miles, some on trails, but mostly on the roads in the camping areas that have not been repaved. I checked my rain gauge at home and we got 1 inch. I wonder if that is enough to bring dead grass back to life.
