I went to the park at 3 this afternoon to get in a run before the tropical storm. It was a little cooler, so I ran 4.1 miles, mostly on the trails. In the last mile, there was distant lightning and a light rain. No rain at my house, but it is suppose to rain all day tomorrow.

- Retired from the Army in 1984 and the Texas Department of Criminal Justice in 2005. Current age: 85. Began running in 1961 and racing in 1983. Completed over 1,500 races, to include 101 marathons or ultra-marathons and 106 half marathons. My normal running place is Huntsville State Park. I am a STREAKER, meaning that I run every day.
