I ran 3.2 miles at the track at midnight this morning. After a little sleep, I went down to Tomball later this morning for oblation surgery to fix a flutter in my heart, which maybe part of the congestive heart failure problem. I got back to Huntsville at 3 this afternoon. Cannot do anything for 24 hours.

- Retired from the Army in 1984 and the Texas Department of Criminal Justice in 2005. Current age: 84. Began running in 1961 and racing in 1983. Completed over 1,500 races, to include 101 marathons or ultra-marathons and 106 half marathons. My normal running place is Huntsville State Park. I am a STREAKER, meaning that I run every day.
