I went down to the doctor's office in Conroe this morning to get the stitches out of my face from the surgery last week. From there, I went a little further south to the Jones State Forest Park to run trails. It rained last night and the trails were a little muddy. I got in 3.1 miles.

- Retired from the Army in 1984 and the Texas Department of Criminal Justice in 2005. Current age: 83. Began running in 1961 and racing in 1983. Completed over 1,400 races, to include 101 marathons or ultra-marathons and 106 half marathons. My normal running place is Huntsville State Park. I am a STREAKER, meaning that I run every day.
