I ran the Texas 10 Series Cypress 5-Miler in Cypress this morning. It was not too hot, but plenty humid. I finished in a slow 1:20:33 and was 4th of 4 in the 70 and over age group..

- Retired from the Army in 1984 and the Texas Department of Criminal Justice in 2005. Current age: 82. Began running in 1961 and racing in 1983.
