I started today with a 3.2-mile run at the track at midnight this morning. A few hours later, I drove down to Tomball for my heart procedure. They went in a large artery in my groin to the complicated side of my heart to do electrical repairs (ablation). I was out the whole time and it lasted and hour and a half. I have never had so many wires attached to my body. I found two more stickers on my leg after I got home. The doctor said it was successful. It should improve my heart function - and hopefully my race times. I get to do strenuous things again in seven days.
