I got up real early this morning to drive to downtown Houston to run the Law Week 8K (4.96 miles). It is one of the oldest races in Houston and well-organized and supported. They had about 500 runners, including some good friends. I finished in 1:12:04 and was 2nd of 2 in the 80 and over age group. My good friend, Larry Lindeen, was first. I last ran this race 5 years ago and finished in 1:04:52.
