We were suppose to run trails at the park at 5:30 this evening. It was still storming at that time. I did not go and assume that no one else did either. Later, I ran 2.7 miles on the streets around the campus in a light rain.
Retired from the Army in 1984 and the Texas Department of Criminal Justice in 2005. Current age: 83. Began running in 1961 and racing in 1983. Completed over 1,400 races, to include 101 marathons or ultra-marathons and 106 half marathons. My normal running place is Huntsville State Park. I am a STREAKER, meaning that I run every day. Phillip and I were out there! We also saw Gerald's car but weren't able to find him on the trails (I think he ran ten!).
I guess I'm a wimp. I hope you avoided the trees during the lightning.
