Felt lousy all day, sinus issues, back and leg pain. So, I went down to The Woodlands tonight and ran the Sunday Night 5K. Very humid. I finished in 59:20, probably a personal worst in the Sunday Night 5K. However, they gave me and one other runner a special Firecracker 15K award for running three 5K's over the 4th of July weekend.

- Retired from the Army in 1984 and the Texas Department of Criminal Justice in 2005. Current age: 84. Began running in 1961 and racing in 1983. Completed over 1,450 races, to include 101 marathons or ultra-marathons and 106 half marathons. My normal running place is Huntsville State Park. I am a STREAKER, meaning that I run every day. Member of the U.S. Running Streak Association, Seven Hills Running Club in Huntsville, Texas, Lufkin Area Pace Setters (LAPS) and the Fass Run Club in Conroe, Author of the book, How to Put on a Road Race.
