After spending Easter Sunday with family, I went down to Magnolia this evening to run the Easter 5K on the same course as the Spindle Tree Park Run. The weather was threatening, with some light rain, wind and lightning in the area. Maybe it made me run faster. I finished in 51:23, almost 4 minutes faster on the same course as yesterday. Just as soon as I left the race and started to drive home, the heavy rain started.

- Retired from the Army in 1984 and the Texas Department of Criminal Justice in 2005. Current age: 84. Began running in 1961 and racing in 1983. Completed over 1,450 races, to include 101 marathons or ultra-marathons and 106 half marathons. My normal running place is Huntsville State Park. I am a STREAKER, meaning that I run every day.
