I went to the park early this afternoon when it was good and hot. I ran 4.2 miles on the trails and never saw anyone else.

- Retired from the Army in 1984 and the Texas Department of Criminal Justice in 2005. Current age: 82. Began running in 1961 and racing in 1983. Completed over 1,350 races, to include 101 marathons or ultra-marathons and 106 half marathons. My normal running place is Huntsville State Park. I am a STREAKER, meaning that I run every day. It is hot in the woods ...good job. I do a mountainbike and a short run in the woods here and brother it is steamy...4 miles ain't no joke. sorry we didn't get to talk more yesterday at Home Depot.
Good to see you, Pat and Mike. Hope Mike recovers quickly from the knee surgery.
