I had an appointment in Conroe today and did not get to the park until late this afternoon. Hot - probably just over 90. I took off on an unplanned route on the roads and ended up running 4 miles.
Retired from the Army in 1984 and the Texas Department of Criminal Justice in 2005. Current age: 83. Began running in 1961 and racing in 1983. Completed over 1,400 races, to include 101 marathons or ultra-marathons and 106 half marathons. My normal running place is Huntsville State Park. I am a STREAKER, meaning that I run every day. Member of the U.S. Running Streak Association, Seven Hills Running Club in Huntsville, Texas, Lufkin Area Pace Setters (LAPS) and the Fass Run Club in Conroe, Author of the book, How to Put on a Road Race.

Yes, it went well. It was a periodic checkup with the skin doctor. Nothing to be burned and no surgeries. Thanks for your support.
