I ran our club's hilly Leftover Turkey 5K this morning. I finished in 42:43 and was first of two in the 70 and over age group. This was my 995th race. Here is my path to 1,000:

Dec. 3 - Texas 10 Series 10-Miler, Conroe - 997
Dec. 9 - Reindeer 5K, Lufkin - 998
Dec. 10 - BCS Half Marathon, College Station - 999
Dec. 17 - Santa Hustle Half Marathon, Galveston - 1,000
