I had a busy day and ended up with enough time to run 4 miles at the park this evening before going to the Sam Houston baseball game with U. of Houston (Sam won 11-2) tonight. The trails are in good shape after the recent rain.
Trails are in good shape. They'll be dried up in no time with the summer heat so I enjoyed it while it is here. Noticed some baby horseflies while on the backend of the park. The spillway is covered with water. Guess the guys will have to run 6.5!
The horseflies will be fully grown by May 1. I've hated those things ever since I pulled a hamstring years ago when three of them were biting the back of my leg and I swatted them while continuing to run.
