New One Year Streak Completed
With my 3-mile road run in town this evening, I completed a new running streak of one year. If it had not been for those four days I missed last October due to a misdiagnosis on my knee, the streak would be 7 years, 9 months and days. Oh well. Now I can get back on the National Streak List (http://www.runeveryday.com/) - at the bottom, of course.

Congrats, sincerely. You thought about stopping for about 12 hours and then went right back at it, not to mention about 15 marathons since then. Setting the standard for us.
Thanks, Vince. Your streak is nearly 8 years. Stay with it; always get a second opinion if some doctors orders you not to run.
