My fever was back up this afternoon, but I did get to the track and run easy and careful laps. It has been 3 days since my surgery and I am more confident that I can keep the streak alive, without tearing the newly attached muscles to my bones.
Retired from the Army in 1984 and the Texas Department of Criminal Justice in 2005. Current age: 83. Began running in 1961 and racing in 1983. Completed over 1,400 races, to include 101 marathons or ultra-marathons and 106 half marathons. My normal running place is Huntsville State Park. I am a STREAKER, meaning that I run every day.
