I have run the Texas Marathon in Kingwood for the last 7 years. This morning, I ran the half marathon race. It was cold with a light rain part of the time. The course is a double loop on concrete sidewalks through the green belt of Kingwood. I finished in 2:56:29. There was no age group competition, but the finisher medal weighed 1.1 pounds. I got back to Huntsville, got a shower and then went to our club run at 2 this afternoon. I thought about running, but my knees were aching. So, I took photos for the club web site. We had a nice crowd considering the cold and rain.
