Rebuilding Strength

Most of the pain from my hamstring pulls and tears is gone now. I am just trying to rebuild strength. My legs feel a lot more stable than they did just a few weeks ago. I will continue to run at the park a couple times a week, but I will minimize trail running for the fear of tripping and repulling the hamstrings. I met up with the group this evening and ran 3 miles on the park roads, while the others ran trails.

Ken. So glad to hear you are headed in the right direction on the hamstrings. I so agree to minimize the trail running. I know that it is supposed to save your knees and all that but one trip can make up for all that. Personally, I don't like trail running at all even though I do a lot of it here on my place. Getting on pavement is like going to the amusement park for me. That hard surface feels so good to run on.
