Empty Roads

The traffic around town is much lighter, now that the spring semester at Sam Houston State has ended. It makes road running in Huntsville more pleasant. After a workout at Nautilus this evening, I ran a 3.4 mile loop around town. Less than a block into my run, Mariah and Mary honked and stopped and we had a nice visit. We are all going down to the Run the Woodlands 5K this Saturday. Anybody else want to go?

This Saturday? There is a 1st Annual 5K that I'll go to in Huntsville. Why drive down to the Woodlands?

I had planned to do the RTW before the new cross country 5K in Huntsville was announced. The entry fee of $25 is a little pricey and there is no age group competition among "adults." Let us know how it goes.

Oh, that is a it pricey. Didn't know they had done that. I won't blame anyone then if they go to the Woodlands!

I would run that warm up mile ahead of you to close the gap to 10days on Saturday, but I guess I will need to attend my oldest son's wedding in Atlanta..

Surely you won't run on your son's wedding day.
