I drove down to Magnolia this morning and ran the Spindle Tree 5K Park Run. Drove through a lot of rain, but it was clear for the race. Ran a slow 58:11, but first in my new age group, 85-89.

- Retired from the Army in 1984 and the Texas Department of Criminal Justice in 2005. Current age: 85. Began running in 1961 and racing in 1983. 85-89 age group...how about that? Maybe runners are aging up and there are more old relics like you and I still hitting the roads.
