Campus loop

I drove to the track this afternoon and ran a 2-mile loop on the streets around an empty campus.  This was the first time in months that I ran this course.  Of course, I was suppose to be running a 10K in Tyler this morning, the first race of several that I signed up for that got cancelled or rescheduled because of the virus.

Yes it is hard to stay motivated with no upcoming event to train for. We are accustomed to having that carrot out there to chase and now...no carrot. But, at our age we have had to adjust to lots of different things to keep moving forward in fitness and life. And I bet a couple of old war horses like you and I will find our carrot down the road.
God Bless

You are right, Marvin. I hated to see your Ironman cancelled too. Races are motivators, but there are other motivators, such as health and fitness. We do it for ourselves and for our family. Keep going and try to be safe.
