Having surgery scheduled today, I ran at midnight this morning. Decided to run 1.1 miles at the track. I went back into town later this morning and ran another 2.2 miles for a total of 3.3. Early this afternoon, I drove down to Tomball for another heart procedure. They went up through my upper leg and inserted a sensor near my heart. It will give the doctor a daily reading of fluid on my heart to help avoid congestive heart failure. With a lot of waiting time for surgery and an hour and a half in recovery, it was nearly 8 tonight before I got out of the surgery center. Cannot do anything for 24 hours. We will see about the streak after that.
