I ran 3.4 miles at the park about noon today. Most of the run was on the roads, but part was on the trails. No biting horse fly attacks. Maybe it is too hot and dry for them.

- Retired from the Army in 1984 and the Texas Department of Criminal Justice in 2005. Current age: 85. Began running in 1961 and racing in 1983.
