I started my marathon training today with a 7.5-mile run on the streets in town this evening. It was hot, but I planned my route so I could stop at my truck once and get more water. With my first marathon of the season on October 6, I have just over 2 months to train. The longer run today was much more comfortable than the long runs last fall with pulled hamstrings.
Wise to do the loop back to the truck for refreshments. So glad, you are more injury free this year, Ken. I wish you the best on your training and your events.
